Chris Castaneda joined TerraFina Energy as part of the Oakville Field acquisition.
adding more than 20 years of practical, field-based oil and gas experience to the
company’s operations team. A South Texas native raised in George West, Chris built
his career from the ground up, developing a strong work ethic early through the ranch
work before transitioning into the oilfield, where he quickly established himself as a
dependable, solutions-driven operator.

Chris brings a rare breadth of technical capability across welding, mechanical repair,
plumbing, and oilfield gauging — skills that translate directly into reduced downtime,
lower service costs, and faster problem resolution in the field. His hands-on expertise
allows TerraFina to address maintenance, repairs, and operational challenges internally and efficiently, improving both safety and economics at the asset level.

For the past six years, Chris has worked as an independent contractor, earning a
reputation for accountability, craftsmanship, and getting critical work completed right
the first time — qualities that directly support production continuity and asset
performance.

When he’s not in the field, Chris enjoys woodworking, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
