For more than 18 years, Scott has represented businesses in employment disputes, corporate formation and governance matters, regulatory disputes, intellectual property matters, and mergers and acquisitions. Scott prides himself on finding efficient and effective solutions to meet my clients' needs.
In 2014, Scott defended a frac sand company against its Board of Directors in a corporate dispute with the majority shareholder. In defending the company, Scott sought a summary judgment for $60,000,000 from the Board of Directors for conversion of the company's assets. The case was successfully settled prior to the hearing.
Scott graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. He then completed his law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1996. He is a honorary member of the Phi Delta Phi Honorary International Legal Fraternity.
