Lauro Almaraz Jr., CPL

​Following Lauro’s graduation from the University of Texas, Lauro headed to the oilfield working for Sun Oil (Oryx Energy) in their land department.  This was followed by a position with Hanson Production and Manti Resources where Lauro joined as a partner. For the past twelve years, he has served as an independent landman consultant. His expertise includes verifying the surface and mineral ownership of particular tracts of land through researching county records. He has negotiated landman deals and trades with other companies and individuals, drafted contracts and administered their compliance, Lauro acquired leases, cleared title, prepared land for drilling or operations, and ensured compliance with governmental regulations.
