Carl York

Carl is a bonified East Texan as he grew up in Lufkin.   

 

Carl served in the US Air Force where he served as an F-16 Crew Cheif. where he was responsible for all aircraft maintenance both pre and post-flight and recording this information.  

Returning to East Texas Carl began his landman career.  Working for JWCI Land Consultants he worked on leases owned by XTO.  Moving to Pennsylvania he was responsible for coordinating all surface drill site location evaluations and well surveying, negotiating damage settlements, surface, and sub-surface easement agreements, right of way agreements, pre-drill fresh water well source sampling, shallow well plugging and abandonment, and water well/methane trouble calls, as well as abstracting, deed plotting, and preparing to stake and permitting packets designed to assist surveyors in the drill site location design and unit mapping. 

 

 In 2017 he returned to Texas where he joined Apache Corporation in Midland.  While in West Texas Carl was involved in drilling water acquisition, fee, BLM, State of New Mexico contract negotiation and drafting temporary and permanent row acquisition, damage settlement negotiations, BLM sundry preparation and submission, land owner liaison, surface title research, drafted lease purchase reports, directed the surveying of road bore and road cut plats and prepared associated applications, negotiated and drafted water purchase agreements as well as frac pond usage agreements, directed and supervised various surveying crew activities, and any other task as assigned by the company surface landman.
